Cell Phone Marketing Done Right

I got this email today from Sprint, my cell phone provider.  I’ve been a Sprint customer for a lot of years and I’ve done my fair share of complaining about their service.  Even though Sprint is still far from perfect, what they did today was a good thing and I wanted to show them some love.  What do you think?

Interesting. They looked in the mirror, saw a problem with their plans, and made lemonade. Nice going. And nice to hear from you.

Big deal! I have been a sprint customer for a long time too and all they tell you of is broken promises. I bought a $140 phone because they told me that was the only one that I could buy with my current plan. The battery last for one day if your lucky and it doesn’t even come in in my drive way. I called them and asked what I could do and they said buy another phone but it will cost you anywhere from $200 to $400 because I have nothing left to upgrade. What a joke! As soon as my plan is up (just because I don’t want to pay $250 to cancel it) they are done. NO longer sprint….going to verizon!

@Jay – It’s good to see you still active on the blog. Thanks for all of your contributions.

@Mark – No Sprint cell service in Australia? Hmm….I didn’t know that.

@Susan – I hear you loud and clear. Please believe, I have my share of complaints as well. Just be careful, the grass is not always greener on the other side.
