The moment I saw this video I knew I HAD to put it on the blog.

Some people are going to watch the video and ask,  “Why would Alzay put this little girl on his blog?”

Others are going to watch this video and say “Dang, I’m glad he posted that video…that little girl has it right!”

Here is the deal: A big part of entrepreneurship is mindset. Your mindset determines how you “see” each day.

• Your mindset determines if you “see” your next outbound phone call as an opportunity or a burden.
• Your mindset determines if you “see” your marketing budget as (A) the reason why you can’t sell more or (B) the only opportunity to have to sell anything at all.
• Your mindset determines if you “see” your launch as (A) a chance to make a bunch of fast money or (B) a chance to impact people’s lives and get them excited in the process.

This perspective matters.  It’s the difference between the banks that almost bankrupt our country (you know who they are) and the companies that keep us excited about their products/services (Apple…Zappo’s)

We encourage young children to “be positive” and we call it cute.  We discourage adults to “be positive” and we call it irrational.  It’s a shame.

You can do anything you want…you really can.  Take your time, create it your plan, work your plan, and you will get where you are trying to go.  The one thing you CANNOT do, is talk yourself out of it.

There is a wall in my house dedicated to my plans.  Not a book or a notepad, but an entire wall.  It’s how I stay focused on what I do and why.
