My Thoughts on Yanik Silver’s Underground Online Seminar 6

Maybe you have heard of Yanik Silver’s Underground Online Seminar, maybe you haven’t.  For those who may not know, it is an excellent event for internet marketers.  The event features a variety of speakers that you won’t see on any “speaking circuit”.

This year was my first time going and I’m happy I did.  The speakers went out of their way to give value to the audience.  They drew back the curtain on their business and revealed the processes and systems they use to create success.  There was a lot I took from their willingness to share.

Out of respect for the speakers I’m not sharing any of their private tactics.  Still, beyond the “secrets” and “magic business models”, there were some major ideas I took away that reminded me about what really matters when it comes to creating a sustainable business.

While I was still in the moment, I shot a quick video to capture my thoughts.  Let me know what you think in a comment below.

  1. Thanks for the recap !

Do you have more insights specifically as a PLM ?
What should we know that could allow us to “convert” better at other events later on ?

@Sebastien – So that is a “client getting” question. You know, this may be a boring answer, but it just comes down to being in the building. The contacts I made came from having casual conversation about our businesses. The people at the event were familiar with Product Launch Formula so once I mentioned what I do the conversation took its natural course. Sebastien, I know that you are not in the US so it is more difficult to attend every event in the states. Perhaps you would want to consider throwing an event of your own in France.

Awesome Alzay! Sorry I couldn’t be there. I loved the 5% / 95% observation as I had my own moment of revelation about that very same thing last week! I’ll take this as confirmation that I’m on the right track. THank you!

Anything else you’d care to share? ; ) I’m listening!!!

    Great Stuff Alzay.
I have to agree with you about your PLM client acquisition process. My strategy is BE THERE, BE SEEN and BE REMEMBERED. So far, this has been working well for me.

  6. Thanks for the review Alzay.

I must remind myself and my clients about the 5% where you can be excellent!

    Cheers
